Hospital Care

The Hospital Care program at Willapa Harbor Hospital is designed to provide a seamless and comprehensive level of care for hospital patients.

Our hospitalists are physicians who care for patients admitted to the hospital. Like a primary care physician, a hospitalist has specialized training in internal medicine as well as a variety of specialties commonly cared for in a hospital setting.

Following patients from the point of admission through discharge, our hospitalists manage the patient’s care by consulting with specialists and their primary care physician, as well as scheduling tests, screenings, and the patient’s overall progress.
