The Cardiac Rehabilitation department at Willapa Harbor Hospital provides exercise and education for patients with heart-related conditions and disorders.
To enter the Cardiac Rehab program, patients must have a referral from their physician and a qualifying diagnosis, such as myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), coronary angioplasty/stenting, heart valve repair/replacement, or stable angina.
Cardiac-monitored exercise sessions are provided on equipment, such as a treadmill, arm ergometer and Nustep recumbent stepper. We also perform cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing and holter monitoring.
Our goal is to restore patients to their optimal physiological, psychological, social, vocational and emotional status.
